Arief Budiman is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of PT Pertamina (Persero) since 2014. Prior to his current role, he was a Partner with McKinsey & Company and President Director of PT McKinsey Indonesia. For more than 15 years, he has consulted clients across various industries across the globe, including the United States, South Korea, India, and Southeast Asian countries. He led number of proprietary knowledge development studies on Indonesia for McKinsey, including McKinsey Global Institute’s report on Indonesia “The Archipelago Economy: Unleashing Indonesia’s Potential” and McKinsey’s “Understanding the diversity of Indonesia’s consumers”. Prior to joining McKinsey, Arief was a consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton in the United States.
Arief holds an MBA degree from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania where he graduated as a Palmer Scholar and a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung.
Phillia Wibowo joined McKinsey in 1998 as the first consultant hired from an Indonesian university. She then became the first female Indonesian Partner in McKinsey & Company, and now is the President Director of McKinsey & Company Indonesia. Phillia is also the Head of McKinsey Organization Practice in Southeast Asia, focusing on energizing large-scale change programs through a leadership engine. During her career with McKinsey, she has worked on various client engagements in different locations in Asia. Outside of McKinsey, she is a member of the National Steering Committee, reporting to the Vice President of Indonesia, and is a co-founder of the Young Leaders for Indonesia program.
Phillia earned her MBA degree from Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Institut Teknologi Bandung in Indonesia.
