1. Automatic data collection.

Like most Web servers on the internet, our servers collect and store all of the information that your web browser sends when it requests a web page, including:

2. Collection and use of gathered information.

We collect personal information (such as name, postal address, e-mail address, and telephone number) that visitors to the YLI Web site knowingly and voluntarily provide by completing one of the forms on the Web site. Should you register as YLI participants or alumni, your profile information will be displayed to other members of that activity for networking purposes, within the private members sites (such as Members and Forum). You may view and edit that information through your personal page within the Members site.

We are the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We will not sell the information and share or rent to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. We do not collect, save or store such personal data from our visitors who just browse through our Web site without completing and e-mailing any forms, and does not attempt to identify users or share user information with any parties outside of the YLI, except as described above, in the event or a suspected attempt to deliberately circumvent our system’s security with the intent to gain unauthorized access to or to do physical damage (for example, an attack by hackers), and as required in the course of officially authorized law enforcement investigations.

3. Protection of intellectual property

The web site contains material which is owned by or licensed to us. This material includes, but is not limited to, the design, layout, look, appearance, graphics, and modules. Reproduction is prohibited other than in accordance with the copyright notice. Additionally, you may not create a link to this Web site from another Web site or document without our prior written consent.

As participants and alumni of the YLI program, you may see other participants and alumni profile information. You may not share any of this information without the respective participants or alumni’s prior written consent. We assume no liability or responsibility for any distribution of the participants and alumni profile information. As participants and alumni, you have access to download modules provided in the website. You shall not redistribute nor use the modules for external purpose outside of YLI context without prior written consent from YLI administrator. Failure to do so will warrant closure to access the website.

4. Electronic Mail

When you send us personal identifying information via e-mail (that is, in a message containing a question or comment, or by filling out a form that e-mails us this information), we use it to respond to your requests. We may forward your e-mail to our team to answer your questions. We do not retain or distribute lists of email addresses to any parties outside of our team. Information collected via e-mail will be retained at our discretion as long as necessary to complete our response.

5. Cookies

Like most interactive web sites, the YLI web site uses cookies to enable us to retrieve user details for each visit. Cookies is used in some areas of our sites to enable the functions and ease of use for those people visiting.
