The Personal Leadership Project (PLP) is a fieldwork component of the YLI National Program designed to enhance participants’ leadership abilities, enabling them to lead effectively, make a positive impact, and achieve desired outcomes. The PLP involves an initiative undertaken by participants to develop their leadership skills, achieve personal growth, or address a specific issue or challenge within their community or organization.
The PLP typically takes place between Forum 1 and Forum 2 of the YLI National Program. Each participant is given the opportunity to utilize a collaborative framework, supported by the extensive YLI network and alumni, to drive change within their communities and surrounding areas.
The Breakthrough Leadership Project (BLP) is a fieldwork component of the YLI National Program in which participants work on a project aimed at providing solutions to challenges faced by prominent companies or organizations in Indonesia or abroad.
The BLP is a team-based project designed to offer participants the opportunity to gain experience in managing and collaborating with multiple stakeholders to ensure the project’s success. Teams are guided and supported by expert coaches throughout the process.

If you are in the 1st or 2nd year of study and have extensive leadership experience under your belt, you are encouraged to apply.
The program is open to Indonesian students who are actively registered as undergraduate students at a university during the start of the Forum 1 of the YLI National Program.
If your GPA is not significantly less than 3.3/4.0 and you possess strong leadership experiences evidenced by proven track record through organizational exposure, you are encouraged to apply.
