Apply for the 2025 YLI National Program

The Young Leaders for Indonesia (YLI) is an intensive leadership development program initiated by McKinsey & Company Indonesia in 2008 and the implementation of the program is now under the auspices of the Young Leaders for Indonesia Foundation. The YLI program is tailored for outstanding Indonesian students from various leading universities in Indonesia and around the world as participants.

Selected students will embark on a 6-months leadership journey starting from September 2025 until March 2026. The participants will be introduced to a series of leadership and proactive problem-solving skills through McKinsey’s framework, program fieldwork, and a forum approach. The goal is to help the participants transition to their first jobs and to develop their vision as future leaders on how they can support Indonesia’s development.

Eligibility Requirements

3rd or 4th year university students, Indonesian students studying in domestic/abroad universities
Cumulative GPA minimum 3.30 out of 4.00
Outstanding leadership and growth mindset
Fluent in English (oral and written)
Possess a strong passion for Indonesia’s Development
